Brian King Gardens, Anglicare's largest facility within the Castle Hill Villages is currently looking for experienced Carers.  Reporting to the Care Supervisors and working within an experienced clinical team, you will provide quality care to our residents.  You will ensure the physical comfort and emotional health of our residents are met in a caring and nurturing environment.

Our Carers work with empathy and respect. They care for residents’ physical, emotional and spiritual needs, and enjoy the richness of working closely with people.

The shifts are varied across Monday to Sunday with a combination of days, afternoon and night shifts.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 12 months experience available on call and for a minimum of 3 days per week.

Key responsibilities:

•Help residents live each day with dignity by responding to their unique physical and emotional needs
•Helping with showering, dressing and eating
•Uphold high care standards by following procedures
•Contribute to care plans by documenting information as required

Skills, knowledge and experience needed:
•Certificate III in Aged Care (or equivalent)
•Previous experience in Aged Care
•Excellent communication skills
•A commitment to the Christian values in Anglicare
