About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Retirement Living Manager on a full-time basis to manage Hopetoun and Nuffield Village retirement living villages at Anglicare Castle Hill.

Reporting to the Regional manager- Residential North West region, you will ensure that the Villages meets our resident’s needs by providing a welcoming and safe village community.  You will ensure that the range of services necessary for our residents to maintain independence is delivered by providing the highest level of service.  You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Villages from managing staff, addressing resident issues as well as overseeing full maintenance and improvement of the properties and grounds.

Key responsibilities

•Residents are provided with choice to live their daily life in a way that is special and unique to them;
•Financial budgets are achieved by managing the costs and expenses and prioritising expenditure;
•Implement Anglicare Health initiatives and work closely with Anglicare at Home to provide higher level of care;
•Ensure the range of services necessary for residence to maintain independence is provided;
•Organise rosters, training and development as well as conducting performance reviews;
•Work closely with the sales team ensuring occupancy levels and profitability of the villages;
•Ensure that services and operations comply with the requirements of the NSW Retirement Villages legislation and regulations.

Skills, knowledge and experience needed

•Previous industry experience as a Retirement Living Manager highly desirable.
•Understanding of and experience working under the Retirement Villages Act
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
•A genuine alignment to Anglicare’s vision, mission and values
