The opportunity:

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors? Anglicare's Elizabeth Lodge is seeking an experienced, dedicated, and compassionate Lifestyle Carer to join our team on a casual basis. As a Lifestyle Carer, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of our residents by assisting with the design and implementation of individualized and integrated lifestyle programs tailored to their unique needs and interests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Planning and implementing recreational activities to promote the physical and emotional well-being of residents
• Assisting with meal service and monitoring residents' dietary needs
• Assisting with medication administration
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of residents' care plans

Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or working towards (essential)
• Aged care experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible and able to work a 15 hours per week schedule, with shifts from 8:30am to 4:00pm
