About our Anglicare Cafes:
Our Hospitality and Events team have Casual and Part-Time opportunities available for customer focused service and kind-hearted Café and Functions Assistants to join the Anglicare team.
In these roles you can work locally, across our Cafe in Paddington.
Our Café and Functions Assistants warm and friendly approach brings joy to the life of our valued residents, families, and friends at our Anglicare Retirement Villages across Sydney.

Would you like to know more about the role?
*Customer orders, preparing food according to set specifications and customer requirements, delivering orders and processing payments and use of the espresso coffee machine.
*Providing friendly, warm, and enthusiastic customer service.
*Contributing to the effectiveness of the whole team by working together and assisting in the kitchen area.
*Assisting with the set up and clearing of the café for differing functions.
*Assisting the Chef with simple food preparation, as required.
*Contributing to a hygienic work environment by cleaning and sanitizing equipment, floors and work areas at front and back of Café and ensuring that safety (WHS), cleanliness standards set by Anglicare are maintained.
About you:

Please tell us more about you and your valued experience in food handling/customer service experience in a café or commercial kitchen and/or function centres and in your application please consider;
*Willingness to work across both locations in the Northern Hills District, availability to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week
*Passion for providing a high standard of customer service, a love for making a difference in someone’s day and a genuine alignment to Anglicare's Christian values
*Current RSA certificate or willingness to obtain
*A Food Safety Supervisor Certificate would be highly regarded and or a willingness to complete company paid training to secure the certificate highly desirable
