About The Role:

This is a unique role within Anglicare’s Seniors Living Project Management Office to support the division, which is undergoing an exciting period of transformation.

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Delivery Office Manager to oversee our project management processes and ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining project management standards, methodologies, and tools, while also providing leadership and guidance to project managers and teams.

Your role will be to enhance the Seniors Living Project Management Office to support the Seniors Living Executives, Senior leadership team and Project Managers with delivery of projects across the division.

You will be key in assuming responsibility for the effective day to day running of the Project Office and/or drawing on knowledge of the most current tools, methods, procedures and equipment in Project Management to provide expert support and guidance on project management processes and procedures.

Your days will be varied, and your stakeholder group is broad. You’ll be a natural at navigating the complexities of a large and complex business unit. You will be key to building stakeholder engagement and driving an uplift in project management capability.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive project delivery across the seniors living business unit through the Project Delivery Office
  • Advising on and supporting the principles for the successful management of projects throughout the project life cycle.
  • Setting and controlling project criteria, including guidelines and limitations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project managers and teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address project dependencies, risks, and issues.
  • Track and report on project progress, milestones, and outcomes to stakeholders and senior leadership, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Mentor and coach project managers and teams to build their project management capabilities and expertise.
  • Enhance current templates, processes and reporting to mirror best practice

Essential Criteria:

  • Demonstrated 8-10 years of experience successfully delivering complex projects across a business working with finance, IT, H&R and operations
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and conduct quantitative analysis
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including demonstrated ability to influence and challenge diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with different stakeholders and timelines
  • Proven leadership experience with ability to build a high performance culture and develop team members
  • Exposure to aged care, disability, community services and adjacent industries, highly desirable
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Business or equivalent essential, with further specialist training in the area of project management
  • Experience working with not-for-profits / charitable / Christian organisation, an advantage
